Developments in related built environment domains have demonstrated the wide-ranging potential of open datasets to unify community analytical efforts and cultivate a more rigorous and critical urban science 17, 18, 19, 20, 21. This is particularly important in urban applications where the rationale behind the model’s predictions needs to be transparent and explainable. Good feature representation not only helps to improve model performance but makes it easier for domain experts and decision-makers to understand and interpret the results of GeoAI models. Towards advancing analytical and methodological innovation in urban networks, uniform, contextually comprehensive, and open spatial network datasets can serve as an invaluable resource for the urban research community. Moreover, current graph-based learning methods continue to prejudice a technical interpretation of urban streets based largely on the structural properties of networks, despite emerging evidence that graph algorithms learn from both structural and attribute-based features 16. Specifically, constraints in data consistency and interoperability, model explainability, and the feature representation of varied built environment features within networks make this a complex task 13, 14, 15. While significant progress has been made, the task of generalising machine learning methods to urban networks remains a critical challenge. Machine learning and predictive GeoAI offer numerous untapped opportunities to extract valuable insights from urban networks and expand existing use cases 9, 10, 11, 12. Presently, network analytics is employed to optimise decision-making procedures across all urban scales, ranging from coordinating city-wide vehicle fleets to the planning and design of active mobility systems 7, 8. Urban networks offer a powerful and intuitive lens to view, understand, and model the complexity of cities 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. Urbanity aids various GeoAI and city comparative analyses, underscoring the growing importance of urban network analytics research. Accompanying the dataset is an interactive, web-based dashboard we developed which facilitates data access to even non-technical stakeholders. The dataset’s strength lies in its thorough processing and validation at every stage, ensuring data quality and consistency through automated and manual checks. We extract streetscape semantic features from more than four million street view images using computer vision. Our workflow enhances OpenStreetMap networks with 40 + high-resolution indicators from open global sources such as street view imagery, building morphology, urban population, and points of interest, catering to a diverse range of applications across multiple fields. We introduce the Urbanity data repository to nurture this growing research field, offering a comprehensive, open spatial network resource spanning 50 major cities in 29 countries worldwide. Urban network analytics has become an essential tool for understanding and modeling the intricate complexity of cities.

The users usually expect the most generic answers based on the data and their own experience. When the participants come up with original descriptions for the cards, they’re often considered creative thinkers. And that enables the observers to categorize them into groups. Different patients and participants have unique ways of describing the cards. The closest thing to a personality analysis that an Inkblot Test offers is your perception category. But the Jungian questionnaires often classify your personality based on your traits. The Rorschach test is focused on the individual’s general approach to perception to assess their mental stability. While there might be small similarities between the two, it’s not wise to compare them. One might think that online multiple-choice Inkblots reduce the validity of the results. However, the online versions are structured, and you have to select one of the options available to be interpreted by the algorithms. How Does the Online Quiz Differ from the Clinical One? The test has been changed ever since, and there are online versions available now. His goal was to create a reliable and valid tool for diagnosing mental and personality disorders using perceptions of reality. Hermann Rorschach created it in the early 1920s. The Inkblot Test is a general approach to decoding your perception in a projective and open-ended fashion. You are supposed to describe the shapes and colors you see, giving them meanings. While that might be a bit disappointing for a big fan of the film, his presence is felt enough through the game that it never feels like he's just been cut out of the equation. Oddly, Manfred never becomes playable at any point via these minigames. All these games are pretty decent, and fortunately, there's not much repetition or recycling of the same games throughout the adventure. There's also a number of target-shooting and item-collection minigames with Scrat. The game features a series of minigames, including a whack-a-mole (or whack-a-possum, in this case) game starring Diego and a hybrid of a slalom and a rhythm game with Sid. The control is tight, the puzzles are generally clever, and the levels are open-ended and provide a decent bit of exploration.ĭiego and Sid do find their way into the game eventually, although purely in a second-banana capacity. Young children ought not to have too much trouble with the game, but even players from older audiences ought to be able to appreciate much of what the game does, even if it doesn't present an awful lot of difficulty. The jump puzzles featured in Ice Age 2 are fairly run of the mill for the genre, but more challenging and rewarding than your average kid-oriented game. Again, this is a platformer, so it's hardly shocking that the game is something of a collection-fest, but there are thousands of nuts scattered throughout the game. ![]() So it's appropriate that you spend the bulk of the game collecting more nuts than you could possibly imagine. The whole hook with Scrat's character is that he's constantly in search of nuts to hoard and bury. Mostly, the game is all about solving various jump puzzles and collecting scads and scads of nuts. ![]() Combat in the game is more of a secondary task, since most enemies can't be killed - just knocked out. Like the protagonist in any platformer, Scrat can jump, double jump, and pull off some very basic attacks that mostly involve stomping and swiping with his tail. His twitchy mannerisms and goofy snarls and screeches are pretty cute, and the developers did a great job of giving him moves and abilities that don't seem out of place for a prehistoric rodent. Scrat is an entirely endearing character, and spending the bulk of your time with him is far from a detriment. That turns out for the better in Ice Age 2. I don't wish it the contrary, I just watched it with my not-so-kid-anymore-but-very-nostalgic-eyes and went out of the theater with the feeling that something from before was clearly missing. You smile a lot, you laugh sometimes, but certainly not during the whole movie. It's just a pity that the funny parts are so negligible. But since I laughed a few times and feel really bad about writing such a "negative" review, I have to admit that some of the scenes were absolutely hilarious and the characters have been kept as funny as they used to be, especially Sid (and his incredible grandmother). Not to mention the "song" they put in the movie, it was nothing but ridiculous and irrelevant, especially for a movie series as famous as Ice Age. I admit there's been a real effort to create an original story that might bring the characters in another world and make them live another adventure, different from the previous ones. When you think about the first episode, yes, you realize how poor the scenario is in this new one. This one, if not boring, is too simple, not to mention incredibly predictable. ![]() The storyline feels a little weak, I thought there would be a lot of adventure and action, as in the 3 previous ones where you don't see how time flies. Was I expecting too much ? We were a group of young adults who grew up with the movies, or at least liked them a lot and we felt let down. "The New York Times, the Atlantic, all these major publications are publishing these articles about what African American women contributed to the movement and how their fight to vote had to continue after the 19th amendment," LaFleur continues. The way suffrage was written about was dominated by white women." Women's history, in the beginning, was really dominated by white women. That isn't something we really talk about. "People are really talking about the role of African Americans and minority groups in the suffrage movement. While celebrations might not look the same this year, LaFleur believes the prevalence of the Black Lives Matter movement further emphasizes the women's suffrage's white-washed history and the need to diversify the movement moving forward. This modular interchangeability became a staple of Lego Space until 2001. Blacktron featured a large spacecraft, the "Renegade", which set the tone for all future big ships by splitting into a number of smaller modules, including a storage bin for a small, wheeled vehicle, that could be recombined not just with each other but with modules from other vehicles in the theme, specifically the "Invader" and "Battrax". Blacktron minifigures wore black jumpsuits akin to modern military pilots, with white trims and opaque black visors. The set designs were based around a black and yellow color scheme with transparent yellow windscreens and transparent red highlights. Blacktron (1987–1988) Īlong with Futuron, Blacktron was one of the first unified sub-themes in Space. At the time, this was the most expensive Lego set. Instead of a large spaceship, the theme centered around the Monorail Transport System, which featured a battery-powered train and some twenty linear feet of track. These figures also featured a newly redesigned helmet with a transparent blue visor. They came in four colors (red, blue, yellow, and black) and had a new design with a zipper crossing from hip to shoulder with the colour above and white below. The new line kept the logo, aesthetic, and the white and blue color scheme used in the later years of "Classic" Space, but redesigned its minifigures. In 1987, Lego added "factions" to its space theme with the introduction of Blacktron and the new subtheme based on space exploration was given the name "Futuron". In 1983, the helmet with thicker chinstraps appeared, although they were still susceptible to breakage. The first helmets had thin chinstraps that would break easily. Two new colors of spacemen were introduced in blue and black uniforms. The first minifigures released in this theme in 1978 wore either a red or white spacesuit, with yellow spacemen debuting a year later.īy the mid-1980s, the color palette had shifted to predominantly white with a transparent blue theme, later used extensively in the Futuron theme. Sets were still simplistic and included mini figure pilots steering their spacecraft with steering wheels, and rocket engines as simple, transparent cones affixed to fence pieces, visor-less helmets, and often no in-flight pilot protection other than a spacesuit. In its earliest stages, Space sets consisted only of ships and basic wheeled vehicles, but as the number of science-fiction inspired designs grew, the basic pattern of ground-buggies, walking robots, spaceships, and bases developed. Designs began using stacked plates rather than stacked bricks in order to make sleeker spaceship. Grey and transparent green were used for ground crafts. Many of the early Space sets were primarily blue, grey, and white and included transparent yellow ships. The first Lego Space sets began an era of more complicated and less colorful designs with a heavy emphasis on space exploration. "Classic" Space (1978–1987) The "Classic" Space logo Once Lego began producing individual themes in the 1970s, many new parts were created, and original pieces began appearing in new colors. Hence, the early Space sets had a limited color selection, and more specialized pieces had not yet been developed. Most Lego sets of this era were composed only of bricks in basic colors. History Early Space (1964–1973) Īt least three Lego sets were released prior to the Anchor Space theme, predating the standard Lego minifigure. Lego Space has been sold under the Legoland and Lego System banners. The theme was originally introduced in 1978 and is among the oldest and most expansive themes in Lego history, consisting of over 200 individual sets. Lego Space is a discontinued Lego theme that featured astronauts, space colonization, spaceships, and extraterrestrial life. ![]() An example of some classic Lego Space sets ![]() Will definitely be making these againĪfter a recent move, we were struggling with a new convection oven. Turn the chops, and grill until an instant-read thermometer inserted in the meat registers 135°, 3 to 4 minutes for rib chops, or 4 to 5 minutes for loin chops. Step 4 Grill the lamb chops uncovered until grill marks appear, 3 to 4 minutes for rib chops, or 4 to 5 minutes for loin chops.Remove the lamb chops from the marinade and scrape off any excess marinade. Meanwhile, pre-heat the grill to medium-high heat, 400° to 450°. Step 3 Remove the lamb and olive mixture from the refrigerator 30 minutes before grilling.Add the olives to the remaining unused marinade stir in the remaining 2 tablespoons olive oil cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Refrigerate at least one hour or overnight. Seal the bag, and gently massage the marinade into the lamb chops. Pour the remaining marinade over the lamb. Reserve 2 tablespoons of the marinade in a small bowl. Step 2 In a medium bowl, stir together parsley, oregano, 1/2 cup olive oil, garlic, lemon zest, salt, pepper, honey, and chile flakes.Step 1 Add lamb chops to a resealable plastic bag.Don't worry if you only have an hour-this recipe reserves some of the marinade and combines it with chopped olives to make a flavorful topping to serve with it. It's perfectly delicious after just an hour, but gets even better with an overnight soak. This recipe uses garlic, olive oil, lemon, and herbs to impart bold flavor to the lamb. Unlike fish or chicken, lamb can stand up to a strong marinade. Whatever you do, don't close the grill the juicy lamb can cause flare-ups that could lead to scorching if left unattended. This can take between 6 and 8 minutes total for rib chops, or between 8 and 10 minutes total for loin chops. We recommend pulling the lamb off the grill when it's around 135° for medium. The best way to grill lamb chops is hot and fast! Sear them on a preheated grill, and use an instant-read meat thermometer to measure for doneness. Rib chops are pricier than lamb loin chops (which are a smidge less tender, but just as flavorful!) they resemble a mini T-bone steak. They're sold with the rib bone attached, and can be "frenched" if desired, which simply means using a knife to scape the bone clean. Lamb rib chops look like mini versions of beef ribeye steaks.
